An automatic is a mechanical watch whose mainspring is wound automatically step by step by the natural motion of the wearer’s arm by means of a rotor. A slipping clutch device is used to prevent an overwinding of the spring, when the watch is already fully wound up. Automatic watches are not only outstanding because of their easy handling, but one further advantage is, that the constant tension of the mainspring provides a remarkable even running of the watch.

Each of these clocks is subjected to a series of quality tests by our clockmakers just prior to its delivery. So any quality mistakes are nearly impossible!
