Its wide, horizontal lug, typical of the time, was perfectly integrated into the flat, tonneau-shaped case. A few years later, Tissot registered the name PRX. ''PR'' stands for ''precise'' and ''robust''. The ''X'' stands for the Roman numeral ten and the pressure of 10 bar, which corresponds to a depth of 100 meters, to which the watch remains waterproof. In 2021, Tissot presented the new PRX as a modern interpretation of the previous model. The chronograph consists, same way as a stop watch, of a standard movement including an independently operating mechanism which is indicating and registering the space of time continually or with breaks. So we speak of a stop watch function included along with time keeping, without interferingwith the continuous time and indicated by an additional hand (Chrono hand). It is activitated, stopped and reset to the 0-position by a pusher on the side of the watch. has a diameter of 42 mm. It has a slight tonneau shape and is adorned with a narrow, round bezel. On the sides, vertically brushed, rounded finishes alternate with polished facets. The Tissot PRX Automatic Chronograph is equipped with a dial with contrasting totalizers as well as nickel-plated indices and hands. The lines of the case extend directly into the bracelet without the use of the traditional horns. Its most striking feature is its series of large links that cover the entire width. Its flexibility and suppleness make it a real success in ergonomic design and provide an extraordinary wearing comfort. The satin finish on the outside is carried out just as carefully as the polishing of the inside surfaces. The hands of the Tissot PRX Automatic Chronograph have a SuperLuminova® coating and are placed one above the other with only a very small gap. This allows the dial to be brought closer to the watch crystal. The optical effect achieved by the Tissot designers makes the watch case appear even flatter and slimmer than it actually is. The watch has a scratch-resistant, anti-reflective sapphire crystal and a mineral glass display back. Its Swiss Made Valjoux A05.H31 automatic movement has a skeletonized rotor and offers up to 60 hours of power reserve. This version of the Tissot PRX Automatic Chronograph features a dark green dial with white totalizers and indices and a 316L stainless steel bracelet with butterfly folding clasp with pushers. The model comes with a special pin for quick setting of the date on the left side of the case.
