 Eine Quarzuhr ist eine Uhr, deren Taktgeber kein mechanisches Pendel, sondern ein elektronischer Quarzoszillator ist, dessen Frequenz mit Hilfe eines Schwingquarzes besonders genau eingehalten wird. Die Stromversorgung erfolgt mittels eine Batterie (Lebensdauer ca. 1 Jahr)

Clock arrived super fast, was in a perfect condition and works until now perfectly fine. Design is appealing and workmanship great for its price. Our toddler loves the clock and is up to now always excited when he sees the cuckoo. I can definitely recommend this clock as it has also a night-sensor and thus switches off the cuckoo while you are sleeping (unless you leave the light on by accident).
