 Eine Tonfolge für den Viertelstundenschlag, die der Melodie des Schlagwerks der berühmten Turmuhr des Londoner Westminster Palace entspricht. Dort erklingt die Melodie viertelstündlich und wird jede viertel Stunde um ein Viertel Ihrer gesamten Melodie länger.
Der Westminster-Schlag wird auch "Big Ben" genannt. Der Name Big Ben (engl. Kurzform für ‚großer Benjamin‘) bezeichnet die mit 13,5 t Gewicht schwerste der fünf Glocken des berühmten Uhrturms am Palace of Westminster in London und nicht, wie gemeinhin angenommen, den Uhrturm selber.

Classic floor clock with solid case of maple or alder wood stained and burnished into walnut colour in several production steps in order to achieve the fine original shades. This model has additional side glass panels, a beautiful burl wood inlay,brass trimmings, 8-day triple chime movement (Westminster, Whittington, St. Michael), brass tubes, cable-driven with automatic night time shut-off and moon phase.
