 Das Quartzgesteuerte Hermle Skelettwerk mit astronomischen Indikationen trägt als oberen Abschluss in Ergänzung zur Stunden- und Minutenanzeige ein Astrolabium. Sonne, Mond und Erde werden vom Uhrwerk über das oben sichtbare Räderwerksgetriebe in ihrer täglichen, monatlichen (Mond um die Erde) und jährlichenUmdrehung (Erde um die Sonne) im naturgetreuen Zeitablauf bewegt. Die Datums- und Monatsposition werden als Tierkreiszeichen (Zodiac) in der oberen Anzeigen-Ebene auf einer dekorativen Bildskala des horizontalen Uhrentellers angezeigt. Die Uhr zeigt einmal den Umlauf der Erde um die Sonne innerhalb eines Jahres, wobei sich die Erde alle 24 Stunden einmal um sich selbst dreht.Gleichzeitig umkreist der Mond alle 29 1/2 Tage einmal die Erde und dreht sich dabei einmal um die eigene Achse, so dass von der Erde aus die einzelnen Mondphasen zu erkennen sind. Die Erde durchläuft dabei die 12 Tierkreiszeichen,Monate und Tage, die auf einem flachen, zylinderförmigen Zifferblatt abgelesen werden können. Die Zeitabläufe sind identisch dargestellt; jedoch nicht die geometrischen Abmessungen.

Uhrwerk: Hermle Quartz-Skelettwerk 2987, Anzeige Monat/Datum, Tierkreiszeichenetc., Laufzeit mit einer Alkali-Mangan Batterie, 1 Jahr, Typ Babyzelle.

Glasglocke: Die Kristallglasglocke wird nach alter, handwerklicher Traditionmundgeblasen


 The highly accurate quartz regulated astrolabium has a month and zodiac disc and a sun, moon and earth ball. Through the visible highly intricate gear train system, the astrolabium clock reproduces the annual orbit of the earth around the sun, with the earth rotating around its own axis once in 24 hours and the moon revolves around the earth in 29.5 days, completing a full rotation around its axis. In the course of one year, the earth passes all twelve zodiac signs, months and individual days, which are indicated on the brass disc. 

Movement: Hermle quartz skeleton movement 2987, display: month/date/Zodiac etc.; battery: Alkaline battery, operating time 1 year. 

Glass dome: The crystal dome is mouth blown and can therefore have little bubbles and other minor irregularities, which is characteristic for this kind of roduction.
