 Eine Quarzuhr ist eine Uhr, deren Taktgeber kein mechanisches Pendel, sondern ein elektronischer Quarzoszillator ist, dessen Frequenz mit Hilfe eines Schwingquarzes besonders genau eingehalten wird. Die Stromversorgung erfolgt mittels eine Batterie (Lebensdauer ca. 1 Jahr)

Three hand-carved birds decorate this classic wood-carving. This motif was one of the very first ones, when the cuckoo clock was invented in 1738. While music is playing, the dancers are turning onto the balkonee.

We ordered two cuckoo clocks and both were delivered on time (within 2 days in Germany), well packed and in perfect condition. We travelled with the same packaging to the USA from Germany and the clocks arrived in perfect condition.
The installation was really easy with instructions in multiple languages, we needed 5 minutes to set it up.
The clocks themselves are beautiful and impressive.
