The tellurium shows the Earth's orbit around the sun once in a year, with the Earth rotating around itself once every 24 hours. At the same time, the moon orbits the earth once every 29 1/2 days, turning once on its own axis, so that the individual phases of the moon can be seen from the earth. The earth passes through the 12 signs of the zodiac, the months and days, which can be read on a flat dial. 8-day 4/4 Westminster striking mechanism on four polished bells. Seconds in power flow, spring balancer, 11-jewel Swiss echappement, polished plates, automatic night shut-off of the striking mechanism. Milled depictions of the 12 signs of the zodiac on an openwork, polished rosette roundel. Milled calendar depiction of the month and day. Tellurium rotating arm with hands and depiction of the sun, moon and earth.
