250 years ago these clocks decorated houses of the high aristocracy. A 100 years later, that is to say in 1837, the inventor Moritz Hagemann von Jakobi found a manufacturing method, which enables a perfect reproduction of those clocks to be done. By exactly the same procedure these clocks are still manufactured to this day in small series. They are independent works of art and match well to each style of ambience, just as a painting. All clocks have a 8-days-movement, with 2 weights, a striking mechanism which strikes on the half hour (once) and on the full hour according to the time. Clocks with three weights strike every quarter of an hour with Westminster chime. Clocks with only one weight don't have any striking mechanism.
