Junghans wristwatches - Made in Germany
Junghans has always been a step ahead of the times with its wristwatches and has been able to showcase its creative power through innovative technologies many times over the course of the company's eventful history. In 1990, for example, the German watch manufacturer presented the digital Mega 1, the first radio-controlled watch for the wrist. This was followed five years later by the first solar-powered radio-controlled wristwatch. In the past, the Schramberg-based company also equipped the pilots of the German Armed Forces with precise chronographs. However, innovative thinking and passion go into every single Junghans wristwatch - regardless of whether they are automatic or quartz watches.
Junghans Max Bill - award-winning watches in the Bauhaus style
However, the creative power of the Black Forest watch factory is not only evident in the inner values of the men's and ladies' watches. The exterior, which gives time its shape, is also characterised by clarity. The design of a Junghans wristwatch is deliberately restrained in order to emphasise the personality of the wearer. In 1961, the watch factory brought in Max Bill, a great artist whose designs had a significant influence on the appearance of the Junghans wristwatch. Even today, the models in the Junghans Max Bill collection are essentially based on the design of the great Bauhaus artist - the purist dial with the clearly rounded numerals on the Junghans wristwatch is a key stylistic feature.
Masterpieces from the Meister collection or design pieces from the Form series
Throughout its history, Junghans has awarded the title of Meister to the most masterful pieces with the finest calibres that have left the watch factory since the 1930s. With the Meister collection, this tradition lives on in the current Junghans wristwatches. Whether quartz, hand-wound, chronoscope, ladies' or men's watch: Junghans offers a wide variety of wristwatches in the Meister collection. The Meister Driver series from Junghans offers a men's watch for car enthusiasts, in which the old tradition of automotive instrument panels is brought to life. A stylish Junghans wristwatch can also be found in the Form collection. A Form men's watch is a special watch for every moment, with which men can express their good style with accessories full of character.
From radio-controlled watches to solar watches: Mega, Milano and Spektrum
The watch colour range also pays homage to the Mega 1, with which Junghans once made history, with its current series. And even today, the Junghans Mega radio-controlled watches shine with precision and elegance. If you want to be independent of limited resources when reading the time and prefer advanced solar technology, opt for one of the solar watches - whether a chic Spektrum ladies' watch or a Milano Solar as a simple men's watch. Among the Junghans wristwatches that we have in store for you, you will also find the right piece for you.
